I'm not well-versed in the political world so bear with me. I was pissed
off when Whitman was re-elected. Mainly my problem was with car
insurance. And before I go any farther, I have no excuse that you didn't
already cover about not voting.
I own a 1989 Geo Metro that is only worth about $2,000.00. My car
insurance, for the year is $2941.44. Why? Because I have 9 points on my
driver's license from dick-headed cops with a hard-on for red sports
cars with Grateful Dead stickers on it. To clarify, Before the Metro I
owned a 1986 Chrysler Laser.
Anyway, so I accumulated these points just from tickets - no accidents.
No insurance company would take me because of a NJ law saying if you
have more than a certain amount of points, your insurance must be
through the state. I had to stop driving for the summer, save all summer
for the $560.00 down payment and then go through the hassle of
re-regestering my car and getting another insurance policy.
I don't make that much at the movie theatre where I work. On top of a
$245.12 insurance payment I must make every month, I also have an
insurance surcharge, through the state for $40.00 a month.
Pat, you get the point. You're right. Car insurance won't go down much
even though Whitman campaigned to lower it. Fuck her!

Oh, good lord. I'm with you all the way on this one, Pat. I swear, I can't
believe this chick got away with anaother measly little victory. McGeevy was
actually ahead until the late evening, when the political whore somehow jumped
up enough to clinch the election. Now I have to say, I wasn't a real big fan
of McGreevy, but, like most elections, you pick the lesser of two evils. The
Democrats couldn't have picked a worse candidate, since McGreevy's record is
almost as dubious as Whitman's. If they would have taken a chance and ran
Florio again, I think they could have won. But, as I understand, Florio is now
a member of the president's cabinet. Department of transportation, I think.
Either way, I doubt ole Jimmy would even come back after the short-minded
backslap New Jersey collectively gave him four years ago, nor would I blame
him, he's off to better things.
All in all, what I want to say is that I agree and second everything that was
said there, and I flip the bird to all who voted for the slimeball Whitman.
And when she steps all over New Jersey in her feeble attempt to get in a
higher office( president), I'll be the first one in line to slap every one of
you and give you a hearty "I told ya so".

hey pat I whole heatedly agree that Whitman is a lie and a fuck up. I
fully expect her to fuck me and my education again before I get out for
school. Every year since she got into office she has cut funding to
schools. I guess she figures if she keeps us stupid we WON'T register
and kick she out of what ever office she gets into. Next she burn book
in school so she cut money for book and heating! And if she cutting
funding for school were the money going? probably in her bank account!
Don't worry Pat I register to vote and try to get ride of morons like
Whitman. The problem is that all politicians will fuck us, just depends
on when and where.
About the registration, all people that have a ss# can necessarily
vote. They just need to give a incentive to register. the system would
work just fine if the people would participate. it all falls on us.

Looks Like Mc"GREEDY" is doing a much better job. See, this is what happens when you let a bunch of Dumb Ass lawyers (democrats) run this state!!! Instead of eating a shit sandwich ,you are eating your own words. I bet you are a typical Democratic scumbag who still blames everything on Whitman!!! I don't know about you ......but I sure would love to have the tax payers buy me a trip to Ireland!!!!
Are you filirting with me? How sweet...
I am not a Democrat, but a Libertarian. I am, however, very
anti-conservative, which I am sure you will say is the same as being a Democrat. It's a difficult concept for
those like yourself running a 2-bit OS to follow. If it's not black, it must be white, right? When presented with a
third choice, many people instantly become the idiot poking a dead bird outside of the Wa-wa (7-11 type store).
At any rate, you mention McGreevey's $105,000
Ireland Excursion,
one of those fucked up things that all polititions do. Is it worse the the many things Whitman got away with? I
guess it was McGreevy who nearly bankrupted the state...
